Send and receive signature requests

You can easily initiate document signing requests with the help of our Portal API. It’s particularly useful if you would like to provide an ability to sign a document straight from your information system. You can initiate a document signing request via an API, just by providing singee's email and a document which needs to be signed. Our Portal will send a branded invitation to signee to sign the document and will return you that document once it is signed.

Documents API

Dokobit makes it easy to provide document signing functionality in your application. It offers RESTful APIs for document signing, archiving, timestamping and validation.

Signature types

Smart card signing

Our service provides the ability to use a cryptographic USB token or a smart card for document signing. Our solution supports Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Safari browsers, and works on Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.

e-Sealing as a service

Our e-sealing as a service solution allows legal persons to seal documents to ensure their origin and integrity of data. e-Sealing API doesn’t require any up-front investments for HSMs or other additional infrastructure on-premises and can be started using right away.

eIDAS compliant

Dokobit API for document e-sealing uses eIDAS compliant Advanced Electronic Seal supported by Qualified Certificate. Qualified Certificates for electronic seals are provided by SK ID Solutions and can be issued to any legal person in the European Union.

Common Criteria compliant

e-Sealing Certificates are stored in cloud-based hardware security modules (HSM) which meets the requirements for Common Criteria (CC) (Standard EN 419 211, Protection Profiles for Secure Signature Creation and other related devices).
